To be eligible to purchase insurance through Connect for Health Colorado’s Marketplace, an individual must:
(1) Be lawfully present in the United States.
(2) Reside in and/or be a resident of Colorado.
(3) Not be eligible for Medicare.
(4) Not be incarcerated.
Individuals who are ineligible to purchase insurance through the Marketplace can apply for others who are eligible to purchase insurance. For instance, undocumented parents may enroll their children in coverage through the Marketplace as long as they indicate they the parents are non-applicants. Not all individuals eligible to purchase insurance through the Marketplace will be eligible for financial assistance.
