Certified Health Coverage Guides across Colorado provide local, in-person education and help, at no cost, to individuals and small employers applying for health insurance coverage. Health Coverage Guides are not paid commissions and their job is to provide unbiased assistance with enrollment. In addition, they conduct outreach and public education about Connect for Health Colorado, the range of health coverage options, and they help you apply for new federal financial assistance, based on income, to reduce the cost of health insurance.
Health Coverage Guides work for a network of organizations throughout Colorado that make up the Connect for Health Assistance Network. Health Coverage Guides must complete online and in-classroom training to become certified to help Colorado residents enroll in a health plan through Connect for Health Colorado.
