About SilverEnhanced Savings

SilverEnhanced Savings is a form of financial help for people who are undocumented. It offers $0 premiums and requires issuers to pay 73% of covered out-of-pocket costs. It is funded by the Health Insurance Affordability Enterprise (HIAE).

No. Entry is free. No payment is required.

 

Please beware of scams. Colorado Connect will never ask for payment to enter or gain special entry into the lottery. If someone requests money in exchange for entry, it is a scam.

 

Look for the Colorado Connect logo on official communications.

To be eligible, you:
 

  • must be currently enrolled in OmniSalud and already receiving SilverEnhanced Savings;
  • must be living in Colorado; 
  • must have reported income under 150% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL); and 
  • must not be eligible for any other health care affordability program – such as Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid program), Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+), or Connect for Health Colorado – which indicates undocumented status.

All eligible household members in your account who are already enrolled in OmniSalud and who are receiving SilverEnhanced Savings in 2025 may enter the lottery.

Each household is allowed to submit only one application. Multiple applications will not result in multiple entries.

Those who meet the income and household size requirements below may be eligible to submit an application for the OmniSalud Lottery.

Eligibility is limited to currently enrolled OmniSalud customers who are receiving SilverEnhanced Savings.
 
New household members, who are not enrolled in 2025, are not eligible for SilverEnhanced Savings in 2026. They can still enroll in a full-price plan. New household members may include but are not limited to a new spouse, dependent, or relative not previously enrolled.

Yes. You will receive a confirmation number when you submit your application. You can print the confirmation number from your application results page.

Colorado Connect sent result notices to all applicants – those who were selected and those who were not – on Nov. 17, 2025.
 
Notices were sent through the customer’s preferred contact method (email or direct mail). You can also access your result notice in “My Documents” when you log into your Colorado Connect account.

You may still purchase a full-price plan through Colorado Connect or directly through a health insurance issuer.

A second drawing may occur if randomly selected customers do not enroll or choose not to enroll by the Dec. 15, 2025, deadline.
