DENVER<\/strong>\u2014 Today, the Colorado Division of Insurance (DOI) announced<\/a> that they have asked the courts to move Friday Health Plans of Colorado into liquidation, which will end coverage for Friday Health Plans customers on August 31, 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chief Executive Officer of Connect for Health Colorado, Kevin Patterson, released the following statement:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am confident that Connect for Health Colorado has the enrollment support network and resources in place to help Friday Health Plans customers find a new plan and enroll for the remainder of the year. In fact, nearly 4 out of 5 Friday Health customers enrolled with the help of a certified Broker when they picked a plan during Open Enrollment. I\u2019m grateful we can count on those experts to provide guidance and individual support to these customers now as they need it. Additionally, we\u2019ll be communicating with Friday Health Plans customers regularly leading up to and during Open Enrollment to ensure they have the support and information they need to stay covered next year. If you\u2019re enrolled with Friday Health Plans and have any questions at all, contact Connect for Health Colorado as soon as possible to get started.
