Lots more to come on that shortly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We recently completed a long running technology project referred to as our \u201clegacy replacement project.\u201d&nbsp; This project replaced legacy code from the early days of our Marketplace with new, custom Connect for Health Colorado intellectual property.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This effort spanned more than four years and provides several key benefits to us including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A more flexible and scalable technology platform which allows us to react to change<\/li><li>An application that is more customer- friendly and offers more opportunities for self-service through our updated, customer-centric design<\/li><li>Consolidated data management and system integrations allowing for better data integrity and issuer communication.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>While we continue to stabilize our new system, I am proud of the results we have achieved as a culmination of this multi-year effort and am excited to explore the new flexibility we will have to improve our platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In the News<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Tuesday, President Biden signed the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/117th-congress\/house-bill\/5376\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Inflation Reduction Act<\/a> into law. I <a href=\"https:\/\/connectforhealthco.com\/president-biden-signs-the-inflation-reduction-act-into-law-keeping-health-insurance-premiums-affordable-for-more-than-200000-coloradans\/\">made a statement<\/a> \u00a0thanking our lawmakers and President Biden for passing this important bill and expressing my gratitude for the additional savings it allows our customers for the next few years.
