{"id":50567,"date":"2020-07-24T10:00:17","date_gmt":"2020-07-24T16:00:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/uat-internal.connectforhealthco.com\/?p=50567"},"modified":"2020-07-24T10:35:53","modified_gmt":"2020-07-24T16:35:53","slug":"expanding-choice-for-this-open-enrollment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/connectforhealthco.com\/es\/expanding-choice-for-this-open-enrollment\/","title":{"rendered":"Expanding Choice for This Open Enrollment"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>To Our Valued Stakeholders,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The heat of summer is upon us &#8212; I hope you are\nfinding ways to stay cool while staying healthy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This week, I visited (virtually) with <a href=\"https:\/\/club20.org\/\">Club 20<\/a> members and was thrilled to share recent news from the Division of Insurance that more Coloradans will have a choice in insurance companies during this Open Enrollment Period, as <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.colorado.gov\/pacific\/dora\/news\/same-eight-companies-returning-offer-individual-health-insurance-plans-2021-while-number-plans\" target=\"_blank\">the state has decreased the number of counties with only one issuer<\/a> from 22 to 10. This is an improvement in choice for many of Colorado\u2019s rural communities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Getting the word out about Special\nEnrollment Periods <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We know that job loss in Colorado is at an all-time high and with that comes loss of job-based health insurance. To help get the word out about getting covered through Connect for Health Colorado, our Marketing team created an online <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/JobLossToolkit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Job Loss Toolkit<\/a> for you to use. The toolkit includes electronic versions of a short flyer, our overview brochure (both in English and Spanish), our financial help chart, social media images and copy, and a 10 minute video about health insurance options after job loss.
