To Our Valued Stakeholders,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As\nsummer sets in and the heat is rising, I\u2019ve taken a step back to reflect on the\nhow we\u2019ve been forwarding our mission in a new remote world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve\nsupported the community by sponsoring remote events, such as Denver Pride\u2019s\nVirtual 5k. Our Assistance Network Team recently completed 17 virtual site\nvisits, with an eye toward how we plan for a more remote Open Enrollment come\nNovember. Our Policy Team remained actively involved during the condensed end\nto our legislative session, which included online submission of our testimony in\nsupport of two bills that ultimately passed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our\nstaff is spending time considering what the rest of the year\u2019s event itinerary\nmight look like, including how we will run the CoverCo conference and my annual\nvisits across the state. We will update you as these events get closer, and as\nwe develop creative ways to accomplish our work with you remotely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Laws Will Forward Our Mission<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As\nI\u2019ve mentioned in my last few posts, we are thrilled that Colorado continues to\ninnovate on solutions to provide Coloradans access to affordable health\ncoverage. I shared my thoughts<\/a> on two bills that Governor Polis signed\ninto law this week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve already begun internal conversations on implementation for these two new laws, and we look forward to collaborating with several partners in the weeks and months to come. On that note, our Board of Directors has opened the application process for the Easy Enrollment<\/a> committee. Please share this application<\/a> with those who are interested and qualified. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
