To Our Valued Stakeholders,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope you are all are staying well and staying home! I\u2019m\nwriting a little earlier in the week than usual because I am asking for your\nhelp. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I announced\nlast Friday<\/a>, we opened\nup a Special Enrollment period<\/a> for Coloradans who are\ncurrently uninsured or about to lose coverage due to COVID-19. That coverage\nwill start April 1, but Coloradans must<\/strong> enroll by next Friday, April\n3<\/strong> to receive coverage under this COVD-19 rule. Visit\nour website to learn more<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although we are generating some interest with nearly 2,000\npeople enrolling in the first five days, we could use your help spreading\nthe word about this Special Enrollment period to make sure those who aren\u2019t\ncovered can get that April 1 coverage. Please share this information with your\nnetwork and community, since we don\u2019t have much time left. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please pass on to your constituents and stakeholders as\nsoon as you can<\/strong> that Coloradans who want to sign up for coverage through\nConnect for Health Colorado can complete an application online and select a\nhealth insurance plan through our website at ConnectforHealthCO.com<\/a>. Our\ncertified brokers, assisters and enrollment centers are all taking phone\nappointments and we\u2019ve added Customer Service Center weekend hours during this\nperiod. To get help enrolling, point people to our many avenues to get that\nhelp<\/a>.\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Life Change Events, such as losing job coverage\n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As always, Coloradans can sign up for a plan any time of\nthe year if they experience other\nqualifying life change events<\/a>, including loss of job-based\ncoverage. Residents who qualify for Health First Colorado (Medicaid) or the\nChild Health Plan Plus<\/em> program can also enroll online through\nthe PEAK application<\/a> any time during the\nyear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you for your help getting the word out and helping\nkeep Colorado covered. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Media outlets have helped us get the word out around the state from Grand Junction<\/a> to Loveland<\/a> and Boulder<\/a>. The Spanish radio talk show \u201cHablemos Hoy<\/a>\u201d\u00a0also featured Connect for Health Colorado to discuss the special enrollment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
