The <a href=\"https:\/\/leg.colorado.gov\/bills\/hb20-1349\">bill<\/a> creates an advisory board, of which Connect for Health Colorado\u2019s Chief Executive Officer is named as a member, to guide development and implementation of the plan.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cColorado\ncontinues to lead the nation in developing innovative solutions for our health\ncare challenges,\u201d said Connect for Health Colorado\u2019s CEO Kevin Patterson. \u201cI am\nconfident this legislation is headed in the right direction and we stand ready\nto advise and implement. I look forward to a thoughtful discussion with policy\nmakers and our state partners about how we use this proposal to lower health\ncare costs for Coloradans.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBoard members for Connect for Health\nColorado continually explore options to increase competition and lower health\ncare costs for residents,\u201d said Board Chair Adela Flores-Brennen. \u201cWe will\ncontinue to prioritize issues of access and affordability, especially for\nColoradans who receive financial assistance to lower costs, as we monitor the\nbill\u2019s progress this session.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">###<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About\nConnect for Health Colorado<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Connect for Health\nColorado is a public, nonprofit entity established by the Colorado General\nAssembly in 2011 to create a health insurance marketplace.&nbsp; Since 2013, we\u2019ve been helping individuals,\nfamilies, and small employers compare plans, apply for financial help, and buy\nhealth insurance.
