To Our Valued Stakeholders,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You likely saw\nthe recent Supreme Court rulings on the Public Charge process and injunctions. I\nissued a statement<\/a> immediately following the ruling, and my\nteam developed a resource document<\/a> that includes a list of immigration\nattorneys. We remain concerned about the confusion this new rule will cause,\nand we will continue to remind our customers that the financial help we provide\nwill not count negatively against them.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even with all\nthe federal happenings, we are staying laser-focused on the services and value\nwe provide to Coloradans. We\u2019re continuing to lend our expertise to the health\npolicy conversations during this legislative session to ensure that new\nproposals effectively work toward more access, affordability and choice for\nColoradans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, our\nstaff and Board of Directors have taken a position of support on House Bill\n1008, the Health Care Cost Sharing Consumer\nProtections Bill<\/a>. This\nbill will cut down on confusion and reduce the risk of customers accidentally\ngoing without comprehensive health coverage. We heard testimony on the bill\nthis week and will watch the bill as it progresses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On a personal note, I was honored to receive a Distinguished Scholar\nAward from my alma mater, the School of Urban and Regional Planning at the University\nof Colorado. I thank them for the recognition and the chance to speak with\nseveral of their students. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
