To Our Valued Stakeholders,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last week, I traveled to Washington, D.C. to meet with our\ncongressional delegation about the shifting healthcare landscape of Colorado. I\nmet with Senator Cory Gardner, as well as Representatives Joe Neguse and Scott\nTipton.  I also met with staff of Senator\nMichael Bennet and Representative Jason Crow. We discussed policy work to\nincrease Coloradan\u2019s health insurance access while decreasing costs, and I encouraged\nthem to spread the message about the financial\nhelp already available<\/a> to their constituents. I also shared the progress\nConnect for Health Colorado is making to ensure our technology platform will be\nready to meet the evolving needs of our state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While in D.C., I also had the opportunity to continue to\nbuild my relationship and trust with our federal oversight group, the Center\nfor Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight. I spoke with them about the\nsystem improvements we put in place this year, and they expressed that they are\npleased with the consistent progress we have made to improve the usability of\nour website while increasing our federal compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week, we reported that nearly 24,000 Coloradans made\nplan selections during the first two weeks of this year\u2019s Open Enrollment\nperiod. I\u2019m encouraged that our message to actively compare plans is resonating\nwith customers. Read\nmore in our press release<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
