Mr. Gordon worked with the state department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) before joining RMHP in 2003. He succeeded Steve ErkenBrack as CEO in June. While with HCPF, Mr. Gordon played a leading role in creating the state\u2019s Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) program. CHP+ is a low-cost health insurance program for children and pregnant women in households earning too much to qualify for Health First Colorado (Colorado\u2019s Medicaid Program) but not enough to afford private insurance. Much of his focus at RMHP has been on serving the Health First Colorado members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
