The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rwjf.org\/en\/library\/research\/2019\/03\/what-characterizes-the-marketplaces-with-one-or-two-insurers-an-update.html?cid=xem_other_unpd_ini:quickstrike%20rating%20regions_dte:20190321\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">study<\/a>, published by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Urban Institute, notes that Marketplaces with greater populations and more competition among health insurance companies generally continue to succeed.<\/p>\n<p>We dove into the numbers and concluded that 68 percent of Coloradans live in counties with four or more companies offering plans, while 11 percent of Coloradans live in counties with only one or two health insurance companies offering plans. <a href=\"\/connect-for-health-colorado-among-the-most-competitive-state-marketplaces-new-analysis-shows\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Read more in our press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Too many areas of the state still only have one or two choices and would benefit from more competition.
