Is my small business eligible to get health coverage through Connect for Health Colorado? How do I apply?

To participate in Connect for Health Colorado’s Small Business Marketplace, a small business must be Colorado-based, employ between 2-100 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) employees and meet the following requirements:

-Have a valid Federal Tax Identification Number (EIN)
-Have one physical/primary worksite address (cannot be a P.O. Box Address) located in Colorado
-Must be a small-employer-organization type; Private Sector, State/Local government, Foreign government or Non-profit organization
-Must offer coverage to all full-time employees (working 30 or more hours per week on average)

Small businesses can sign-up for health insurance through the Marketplace at any point during the year through the Small Business Marketplace. Sole Proprietor: a husband and wife (only) business or sole-proprietor is not eligible to purchase coverage as a business under the Small Business Marketplace. They can purchase Individual & Family health insurance coverage through the Marketplace.
